statesman, and founding father of America. He served America as the first
President from 1789 to 1797.

George Washington was the elder son of Augustine Washington and
Mary Ball Washington. He was born in a wealthy family. During initial days of
his life he worked as a land surveyor. George Washington inherited a big estate
from his ancestors. George Washington inherited another estate Mount Vernon,
after the death of his half brother Lawrence’s widow’s death. George
Washington, inspired by his half brother Lawrence Washington, joined in Army. Virginia's
Lieutenant Governor Robert Dinwiddie appointed him as a major in December 1752
and as commander of one of the four militia districts.
George Washington’s presence in the battle field always

13 February 1793, George Washington was elected as the
president of USA for second term.
In February 1754, Dinwiddie promoted Washington to lieutenant
colonel and second-in-command of the 300-strong Virginia Regiment. George
Washington was orders to confront French fortification at the Forks of the
Ohio. George Washington found that French regiment had only 50 soldiers and
decided to take offensive. He shot dead all the French Soldiers including their

Second Continental Congress created the Continental Army on
June 14, 1775. Samuel Adams and John Adams nominated Washington as the commander
in chief of Continental Army. Soon Americans realized that George Washington is
the best person to lead and unite the colonies.
With the help of France George Washington won many battles
against Britain.
George Washington presided over the Constitutional
Convention of 1787. This Constitutional Convention established the U.S.
Constitution and a federal government. Washington’s manifolds efforts for the
formation and development of America earned him the epithet "Father of United
States of America".
After America achieved independence in 4-7-1776, on 30 – 4-
1789 George Washington had been elected unanimously as the 1st
President of America. He was requested by many great leaders and people of
America to continue for second term.
Till his last breath George
Washington served America and finally passed away on 14th December
1799.
