Parents: James I and Mary Anne.
Mary Anne was princess of Denmark and James I was the
successor to the thrones of England, Ireland and Scotland.

Charles I
was a handsome person, expert in sports with good physique. Most of the
contemporary princesses were interested in marrying Charles I. He was a good
husband and good father. He was very kind too.
1. The negative side of Charles I was, he considered that
the laws are meant only for common people. He considered himself above law.
2. Charles I strongly believed in divine right theory. He
considered himself as an incarnation of God.
3. He did not have the habit of keeping his word. Due to
this reason he lost the confidence of his people.
