secure independence. The 5 founding ideals of America were:
1. Democracy - Leaders of American freedom
movement wanted to have a form of Government where power is vested in the hand
of people.
2. Equality. Americans wanted to build a
society based on equality.
3. Liberty
- They wanted to have an atmosphere
where the individual thinking is not limited by external forces.
4. Opportunity - Equal opportunities to all.
5. Rights. – Fundamental rights.
The
results of American war of independence had impact not only on America, but on
entire world.

America, England’s colonial empire was dethroned.

England’s trade was adversely effected and it incurred losses financially.
3. George
III’s rule was ended in England.
4. After
the independence of America, England completely concentrated on Asia and Africa
for its exploitative measures.
5. Spanish
and American colonies attained independence.

Joseph Huntley Hayes, a famous historian, opined that “American war of
